the reason u were LOL'd out of town
I'm usually one of your advocates... but this by any standards is off.
Despos posted about this in one of the tailor threads. It can be done, but is difficult.
If you tell me my tie is too narrow for my lapels, I don't care.
I am more concerned about the machine stitched edges on the PS.
I think Despos said the pattern needs to be adjusted, so new pants can be done with slanted cuffs but finished pants can't be altered to have them. I could be wrong though.
ok, maybe its just me, but are we gonna change this to: WAYWRN v. chest shot only, with additional pic of shoes? Without the whole head to toe look, its hard to tell much of anything beyond that you can put together colors that don't clash horribly.
Anyway, my contribution for today, same bad picture, same bad channel.
With respect, sir, maybe that's all some people want to know. Sure, if you want feedback on how your trousers fit or whatever, fair enough, but sometimes you might just be sharing a colour/texture combo idea, or whatever. I guess people also have different thresholds of privacy. The chances of my posting my face on here are slim to zero, which is probably a blessing to all. But also, if I'm going to be pedantic (and this is the place!), then holding a phone in one hand and putting the other in your pocket doesn't help the silhouette much either!
Apart from that, I like your jacket. Those are some big F-O lapels/collar spread; I don't know if I would go there, but it looks great on you.
I hear you, but I like to get a look at the whole outfit. Just seeing the chest zoom makes it hard to get a good idea of how the whole outfit looks. If you want to photoshop your face or cut off your head, i think thats fine.
I don't have the time in the AM to do a full tripod setup and I don't post pics every day, so it really is the best i can do under the circumstances, but you are absolutely correct. I do prefer a more casual pose though.
Thanks for the compliment on the jacket. Its a vintage (60s i believe) camel hair herringbone SC. One of the softest jackets I've ever felt to be honest. The lapels are a bit big.
yah. would agree to that.
i think many suits have darts, just less noticeable than the ones on those.
I'm agnostic on the PS in this application, but I'm a devout believer in everything else. Great stuff, Rob.
Bad dog, Spoo! Friends don't call attention to friends' diversionary tactics.
