I like your tie knot Betel, my comment is that although your shirt has stripes and the square has dots, they are very close in scale.

@RDiaz - Your trousers are too short, there is no break in them. The back of the leg should sit just 5mm above the heel and the front on the shoe, causing a break. Lose the cuff as well, it looks quite contrived on a modern pair of trousers. If you do decide to do any tailoring, I would suggest sorting the back of the thighs, that and the cuff removal will take 20 years off the look and give a much more stylish, streamlined, modern look.

Don't bash him, lol. I guess what he said would be right for a more "modern, stylish, streamlined look", but that just ain't what I'm after, and I don't think these trousers have a modern cut anyways [IMG]
I like cuffed pants to have little to no break, and don't mind showing socks when walking (not when standing, though). I was more concerned about the overall drape, but thanks for the feedback [IMG]

Why are you posting photos of yourself here if not to garner opinions?

Thanks John, looking at the pics I realized what you are saying. I'll need to find a solid pocket square in that colour... or perhaps another colour.

Quote: The drape at the back of the thighs... maybe I'm just being a little OCD about it. I should post some back shots at the tailors' thread [IMG]

This coat is a bit snug in the chest.

So, maybe a little heavy-handed on the pattern matching today? I'm generally inclined to a solid tie on a solid shirt, especially with a pattern jacket. I think the shirt's pattern size may too easily echo the jacket's. On the upside, it may have a mesmerizing effect...
