1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    ^^boss.

great one C. The pose and attitude in the pic make up for any gripe i have on the fit. lengthen the sleeves and it would be a ton better.

This reminds me of nothing so much as the divorce proceedings between Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Mickey's lawyer interviewed Minnie, then had a meeting with Mickey.

Lawyer: "You can't divorce Minnie on the grounds of insanity."

Mickey: "I didn't say that she was insane. I said that she was fucking Goofy."

Ouch, that hurts about the trousers! I actually love how they fit - they are not so baggy really, my legs are just that thick. Or are you just talking about the fact they are plaid trousers?
Black oxfords and white shirt with this are part of this friday's WAYWRN challenge - I would not wear such a combo otherwise [IMG]

Barroom...me likey...small photo but very nice fit. Great work "reducing" (as Betty Draper would call it)...I am a former 52 trying to get to a 46...but that is for another thread ; ). Only point I would make is that some fun socks would really make this fit supreme. maybe you are in a too conservative workplace for that, or maybe not your personal style...but a light blue, or dark red pattered socks might really make a nice splash

    This is the issue.

    This is the result.

If you wore matching pants with the jacket, I suspect the effect would be greatly minimized. As for your being "bottom heavy," I think you overestimate the impact of this on your overall presentation.

If I crop the image and leave only the top part, the shape and location of the armscye still bothers me. I don't know how to explain it, that's the problem. Perhaps I could say it looks too "Richard Anderson", which is a type of cut I hate with a passion.

The way too open quarters are not just the result of being open per-se, but also of a long front balance (which also causes the X at the buttoning point). But yes, future commissions, whoever makes them, will have that fixed.

Anyways, these MTM jackets, while not overly expensive, are probably a waste of money - they cost more than RTW and I'm still not happy. Might just get a couple decent fitting RTW jackets so I have something to wear this summer (my usual RTW brand is just €200 per jacket), then start saving for Steed or NSM. I'll be happier in the long run, and for some reason I keep coming to the same conclusion.

Well-- I took some chances in NYC yesterday. I know the collar of my shirt is messed up. For those of you who have been the same size since college, let me explain: When your size changes you tend to hold on to the smaller stuff thinking you will get back to that size some day, then you realize that day is far away, so you go spend some money on nicer, larger clothes. Then you realize 2 of your best friends have had strokes and you aren't getting any younger, so you decide to take care of yourself. On your trip back to non-obesity you have to make choices like "do I wear this even though it is still a little small on me" or "do I get this taken in so I can still wear it even though my tailor can't get it perfect" All that being said, the fit is off a bit (too tight shirt, too big SC)...and I think the tie is a fail. It looks terrible in the flash shot, better in mirror shot.....I hope I get the Spoilers correct....
