    I just suggested that he not. I know I'm not planning to for mine ...that's a waste of an excuse to buy an expensive suit (just asked (soon to be) Mrs. Claghorn and she rolled her eyes and asked if I was on Style Forum)

    My MC was thrifted (well, Ebayed), and my wedding wasn't going to be an excuse to spend money on my outfit either way, so I went with it.

    Very right, always these small things that comes in the way that I buy. If I could just control myself I would have the AP last month..

    She's Korean. I'm Texan. I'm not sure if I could justify to myself spending a few thousand dollars on a suit (though I'll probably not go above $2000 with shoes) unless it was for a special occasion. Koreans with money, however, need no such excuse. And unfortunately they often feel no need for taste either. Conspicuous consumption is insane here...you will also see a lot of people keeping the sleeve label attached to their suits so that people can see where they purchased it.
