1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

@SB Yup, very clear contrast. Don't know why it doesn't shoe up in the lighting.

@JP Don't know why the picture is ripe for pchopping, but I'm down.

I never know what to do with this damned tie :embar: colors are fairly close, albeit some more beige-yness to the tie.

...that doesn't sound half bad.... :nest:

I like your style, Kappelan, but it would be even better with a more fitted pair of jeans IMHO.

Tibor, I think you'd suit having slightly fuller hair--in the same style, of course (as is your aesthetic), but it would create a better shape, IMO. Suits look fantastic! :)

Yes, my hair looks quite severe. I love wearing hats and I like the uniformity and order of a paramilitary structure, so I ask my barber for a 2 on the sides and to take most of the body out. I make sure he rounds off and tapers the corners of the top. What would you recommend?

I admire the style (the slicked-back, tight side-part of the 20s), but I feel, if you have some more thickness/weight in exactly the same style, it would give balance. I appreciate the longer you go, the possibility of unruliness increases, but that needn't be the case.

    A la:

And without the New Balance sneakers. Kappelan's fits often play interestingly with the edge of MC casual, but this one just likes he's (badly) copying a JCrew catalogue look. NB are neither cool nor well-made, they are just an American middle-class cliché.

Nope. Voir dire was for a case against the city. Made me sit there for four hours watching everyone else get questioned before telling me I could go because of my job. The attorney for the plaintiff was an older dude in a grey flannel stripe suit and bow tie. he jokingly started everything by asking if anyone had anything against bow ties. i raised my hand and told him I owned a tie company that sold none. Room cracked up. Gave him my card as I left (always hustling).

Dude, don't laugh. I usually go very casual for jury duty...got a murder trial last time and the judge called me back in after voir dire, and scolded me for being under dressed. And oh, you should expect something in 2-4 days...:)

Stitches encouraged me to crosspost. From a recent wedding (not mine; also, lady in photo is no relation)

Splendid! Another argument for the necessity of owning and wearing a DB suit!

Nice looking jacket but isn't it a little too tight ( the infamous "X" in the jacket material)?
