"Lovin' yesterday's jacket. You've mentioned your wardrobe isn't expensive, who makes it?"

Just some British vintage wasn't expensive as well :)

    Today's stuff

I hope the shah (and other SW&D guys) continue posting their more MC/suited looks in here; I enjoy seeing how they play around with forms and styles. Like black_umbrella, I don't really think there's a need (or justification) to support those aesthetic experiments with a pseudo-scientific or architectural foundation, but if it helps them with the experimentation process I don't see the harm in it. They'll have to forgive me if I interpret their looks based on whether I like or am intrigued by the end result rather the stated method/theory behind the choices. But I like seeing their looks in here.

Anyway, partly inspired by the entertaining (largely for the wrong reasons) turquiose tie thread, I thought I'd dig this one out of my own wardrobe:

umbrella - I like the equidistant parallel vertical lines formed by your right arm, tie and edge of left lapel.

I could be wrong, but in all of your fit pics your hands are in your pockets the sleeves always tend to ride up and bunch. It seems like the sleeve length is off, or something is going on with your sleeves.

notice the perfect sharp triangle of the tie tip being softened up by the rounder 90 degree angle of the left pant knee and bringing the angular aesthetic up through the left arm? I count 10 lines with 5 being sharp and 5 being soft and rounded, perfect sharp to round ratio.

    I think I like it.

Would need to see the whole thing together to get a feel for the overall look.

Yeah on this photo it looks awkward. But sleeves are fine.

    Same jacket :)

Quit apologizing. You pointed at a steaming pile of bullshit and called it bullshit. More important, you gave me a good laugh in the process. Your graph was all kinds of excellent. :slayer:

This board is far less-interesting without your one-of-a-kind fits. :slayer:

Those shoes are unbelievable...I am glad you can pull them off with aplomb, but I am sure many could not. Have you posted them before?
