1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

SB - I hear that, and it's probably not a bad idea. I like this shirt with this jacket though because they both have a purpleish hue. I wanted to give this tie a whirl, i like it, but maybe I'll try lighter shirt or darker tie next time.

Wat. I don't agree with any of this (except that lining thing).

There is red and then there is red, though it does look better with a light blue shirt. And for white or black tie I wouldn't use suspenders with leather tabs, but knitted ends.

I disagree with you. I stand by what I said.

Don't get me wrong, I think MFA is a great learning environment, and educating people about the way they dress is a noble goal. I just feel the discussion has a limited scope at times, and revolves around a limited amount of topics. I just wish there was a subreddit similar to styleforum, because I do prefer reddit's system over the kind of outdated layout of styleforum.

Red is bad IMO. Burgundy is good though.

I agree with PB. The fit got so much love because of the arm bands things. The wood SF has for accessories few under 90 would wear in the real world is firm and vertical.

That said, it's a nice suit.

i think the red tie hate has jumped the shark. sure some are too much, but a good red with a blue suit is very appealing combo imo.

I've always wondered, how do you guys determine fit when all you see is barly half of his torso, a raised arm, and a cockeyed tie? Because to my eye, the right shoulder, which is all you can see in this picture really, looks to be a little large. But it could be how he's holding the camera.
