I wonder how many fat pockets 9/11 memorial novelties created.

Plenty - and the guidebooks showing the WTC and the aftermath of 09/11 are still being flogged on Trinity Place to this day AND, perversely enough, the neighborhood is much more heavily visited by tourists now than it was pre-2001.

This sounds similar to grief tourists taking trips to see the aftermath of hurricane Katrina when visiting New Orleans. I can't speak to the motivations of why people would want to do that but it's definitely not for me. I was in NYC by chance right after they opened the viewing platform at ground zero and stood in line for a minute but then left and just decided I'd rather remember how it was and the fantastic photos I took from the top of the towers than looking at a giant construction site.

Rob: Is that Slewfoot's fresco? Looks nice. I would try different trousers for the blazer configuration.

Spoo: That tie looks lush.

Did you happen to get the number of the carny who dropped off your coffee table?

Found it in an abandoned factory, stacked with paint cans.

I can wear this tie once a year.

I must side with the prosecution - the tie is fugly

Something's not right about the proportions. I thought the jacket was too short, but it seems right when I look at your arms / hands. Maybe it's just the low angle of the shot?

P.S. - stop stealing my look. There's only room for one Obadiah Stane wanna-be in this world . . . don't make me take you out

Winner by unanimous decision, and still champion . . . .

Last days of summer. Whipcord and cotton madras. Maybe I'll start doing the big photos like Spoo.
