I saw these in a few colours with and without dots at The Bay a year or two ago for quite cheap and have regretted not buying a couple.

upr, I have a few of that kind of closely-tesselated, geometric pattern, woven high-sheen ties. I like them in themselves, but they're tricky items to wear, and I find myself wearing them less frequently as a result. I think they work best at night-time, for going out to dinner somewhere nice.

Lovely warm sunny day, so out comes the linen...

Would appreciate suggestions for more combinations for this suit, please. It seems like it should be easy to co-ordinate being totally neutral, but that also has the flipside of being quite a large expanse of neutral to work against. Ideas would be gratefully received!

I think you're on the right track with that yellow tie. I could also see it working with a subdued orange, brown, burgundy or even a green tie. Solid dark blue ties, IMO, can be overpowering against such a light ground... unless you don't mind the high-contrast effect. I would avoid too-bright satiny ties with this one.

Derek^ Express makes decent white denim, I had a pair a while back and I was going to guess they were from there. Good look. I think white denim is too seasonal and high risk (stains etc.) to go too expensive on. Good choice.

The pants and jacket are prob too close together but I was told dark grey may work with this jacket. I think I should try navy next time :nodding:
Enjoy your friday gentlemen.

I would like this more with a solid blue shirt. As it is, not working for me.
