You can be trendy and still have things fit you better and have better proportion. That is the difference between people who stand out amongst the trendy.
Agreed, but you also just stated the difference between SF and the outside world. On these forums we critique centimeters and half inches. I'm sure there will be passers by who say man that dude had on a tight jacket. But most won't notice what we notice.
(then again, if you don't want some critiques you don't come here in the first place. I get it)
sometimes when im feeling a little frisky and spent the week in the gym ill go balls out and leave the top THREE undone....skin is in.
Generally nice, but the bow looks like it's about to attack your neck. The knot is too tight, and you should shorten it (assuming it's adjustable) so that the bow isn't so wide when tied.
Tie is too skinny. Logo/crest on tie is too naff.
Definitely a different tie. I would go lighter in both color and fabric.
Noooo toooo sexyyyyyyyyy noooooo!
Ahem, but yeah to your suggestion Derek, I have tried this with light grey wool and it works well, with my mid grey it seems out of place to me. The jacket is kind of a light brown/light tan chambray style weave and I worry mid grey is too dark with it. I have no issues pairing brown in the fall, in the summer I am lost. I was going to wear a berry pink tie with this today but decided it was too pastel for the brown base.
Bless you that you can reveal that much decolletage - with my moobs, one button is the max .
We are talking about trouser buttons, right?
Moobs? Oh, I thought we were talking about button flies...
jacket is belvest correct? i tried that same coat on at neimans. didnt look as good on me as it does you. Probably wont help, but it looks tops with dark denim.
HAHA! hardly crusty! embrace your inner fabio!
Maybe they hang that low?
There is no perfect fit when dealing with RTW. Especially if someone has an athletic and or muscular build. If you can get am RTW coat to fit 95% correct, you're doing fine, imo.
I was looking for a way to say this. My words came out all bitchy and mean.
Tighter and shorter are in fashion. However, proportions still play and there is too tight and too short. 'Fashion' isn't carte blanche for anything goes. There is still "That doesn't look right on you".
Noooooooooo! Its got to be the real deal. I'm sure someone can find out where they source that high quality felt they use on the competition tables.
