Leave the jacket as it is. The proportions are fine the way that they are, and the two "vestigial" buttons are an integral part of the proportions.

Vendor meetings today gave me a good excuse to wear a suit.

    i think this is amazing.
i quite like this. would like even better with more dressy trou than the cotton chinos you have on. but that is just my preference.
another vote for leaving the jacket. it looks great.
excellent. glad you got to get back into your groove.
:slayer: have not seen him around here lately.

    Org,

As an aside, I just took a look at your blog. Since you rarely push your own idea of what looks good (refreshing sometimes) it was interesting to see you explain some of your ideas and theories. Well done.

Thanks! I have to agree with you on the trousers but my excuse is lack of forethought. I just tossed a bunch of stuff in my luggage before I took off and am kind of regretting not coordinating more now. lol

Also, remember how I didn't like your shoes last time? Well I LOVE the ones you have on now.

Does this work? Not sure if the pattern in the sport jacket jives with the plaid shirt.[IMG]

    Thanks guys.

Thanks, man! I need to update the blog. I've been busy and lazy with it lately.

It's not great. The pattern combo is meh, but the bigger issue IMO, is the colors. A pink and blue shirt like that is very spring-y and jars with the dark black-and-brown tones of the jacket.

BTW, Stich, forgot to say your fit is very nice today. I like that shirt better than some of the other blue shirts you've posted recently, which seem (on my monitor anyway) to have purpleish or greenish tones to them that don't work as well with there rest of your fits.

thanks, O. the last few shirts i posted were actually the same one i wore with a few different fits, and yes, it is purplish. then i have a robins egg-ish one, that might be what you see as green. this is one of my most "blue" blue shirts. glad you liked!

I don't know if it is the pic, the roped shoulder looks curious. Nice fit, though.

I like the jacket Mr Diaz, I would leave the buttons.

Trying the woven silk PS again, this time with a three piece and bow tie. Too much? (Shirt is blue, all evidence to the contrary.)
