1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

That looks great, N. I think the black shantung was a nice touch against the earthy olive.

Patch pockets don't have a cycle. They look great on certain fabrics and certain types of suits/jackets. They will always be a good choice for these. Just not on everything.

Guess I should have elaborated. I just found it amusing how I have seen quite a few comments lately on the lines of "this would look better without patch pockets", when it seems a few months ago people were putting them on EVERYTHING. I am still a total newjack so don't mind me, you are right of course.

They're at a point where I am going to have to resole them soon - I've walked almost all the way through them. Would prefer to replace with a proper pair o' specs, but that's not in the cards for now.

What to do, what to do...

I have specs, Lufty. I have grown weary of them. PM me.

Just a casual day with the family having breakfast on the patio of my Dad's new condo.

That, sir, is a knockout ensemble. The tab collar is especially cool.

Lots of comments from random people on the streets, even though this looked better in my mind's eye. No one here will like the shoes.

I don't know, to me they fit the overall vibe of the outfit fine, even if not to my taste in isolation. Solid pale pink shirt (or a microcheck or even gingham), and this would be great. Still nice though.

This one's my fave from your recent batch, I think.

    ...

Source of tie please? I'm after a new red pindot on navy blue background to replace an old one of mine that's seen better days. Ideally, I'm after a print rather than a woven, but I'd at least like to take a look at one like yours. It's surprisingly hard to find one...

Weekend casual here; shame it's a bit overcast, weather-wise.

Thrifted it along with a navy-pindotted (less dots, more spacing) from the same brand. Source is Stockholm Kravatt, they don't sell anything similar to that from their webshop. [IMG]

Fun casual look. I dig the shoes. Are they canvas or standard sneaker leather?

+1 .. don't do it Spoo - use an actual representation so you can have accurate feedback.

My endorsement of the lower angle wasn't about making him look better. It effectively removes the distortion of proportion that his pictures (done with an iPhone, note!) typically display. HF's point about an angle that more closely mimics eye-level would be valid if the lens of the iPhone were more similar to the human eye.
