well said. you could always PM to me.
looks good.. why no full body shots babi?
You're going the wrong way with your colors/patterns. The last couple fits have been wonky.
The colors in the first picture are more true. There is a check pattern on the light blue shirt which is visible when clicking the pic.
Yeah I am kind of clueless on how to work with lighter colored SCs. I know I can make this one sing with the right combos. Not sure what to do with the tan jacket. Open to suggestions. trying to figure out what pant colors to purchase and the kinds of shirts to wear with lighter jackets.
in my very uninformed opinion,
the tan jacket is way to casual for a SC like that, maybe best with just pants and a shirt, or jeans.
i think you have the right color pants with the SC, but they look to bubmply and casual for that SC imo. the pants and tan jacket are good together i think, but the SC and tie are out of place. i would find dressier pants of a similar solid color with a crease for that SC. also, not sure about the large check SC and the large check shirt together. maybe start with a solid shirt with that SC.
but, i do like the SC, very FUish. it just needs the right ensemble to work for you.
tan jacket is too casual for? sorry i didn't follow haha.
I was thinking blue pants may be good for both, light a greyish blue. I dunno. Maybe brown or cream grey.
The shirt today was a bad choice, I was going to wear a lilac shirt with it but thought that would be too matchy.
Its not that its tan, just the style and look of the jacket strikes me personally as far more casual than the look of the SC, and being that the SC is clearly what the eye is drawn to as the main piece I think other pieces need to be congruent with it, not fighting it. Just my opinion.
I have been told the rule of thumb is that the pants should be lighter than the SC, just something to keep in mind.
I look forward to seeing what you pair it with next.
had a better pic on my DSLR from today...thought id post for a clearer shot
sorry for the double post...but not really that sorry
I agree about that rule but unless I wear white pants (which I am not adverse to) it is hard sometimes. I think grey jackets can look good with blue-ish pants and I think tan jackets can look good with brown pants. I wish I could find the "one pant" for my SCs. My mid grey pants seem too dark for both.
much better. but you look like you are bent over pinching a loaf or a fart.
no worries, you will find the right pents. just be patient and dont give up.
My daughters first birthday... Oh how time flies.

I don't think I ever posted this. It's from awhile back and I usually don't have photos taken of me in my clothes... but here's one.
