Good morning folks. Any suggestions on what to pair with a very light tan SC like this? I wanted a pop of color in the tie but wasn't sure on pants, went with these in light blue oxford. It is a scorcher already today...stay cool everyone.

Jacket-Corneliani Wool/Silk (the most extended shoulder I have purchased to date, was a cheap experiment)
    Tie-BB
    Shirt-BB
    Pants-Jcrew bowery cotten/linen
    Shoes-Brown BB penny loafers

In retrospect, I tied my knot pretty shitty today, excuse that while I redo that...

Nice jacket. The problem with those trousers is lack of contrast with the coat. I'd go with either REALLY light pants (like stone or even white) or something like medium brown.

The jacket would look great with a deeper French blue for the shirt, or of course white.

Kickass travel style! Comfortable and attractive.
Summer air travel with tight budgeted airlines not wanting to run onboard aircon is a great way to soak a suit with perspiration through and through.
Your ensemble looks far more survivable.

Spick and span, neat as a pin. I admire the creaselessness of that jacket.

If you catch me at the airport, I'm the one that looks like a full-time hobo.
I've even been approached recently by a lady in the first class check-in who asked me if I'm certain that I'm waiting in the right line. 'economy check in is just over there!' [IMG]

Nice looks from Derek and IanGP, I think I have enough stuff in my closet to do my best to emulate either of these combinations so I appreciate the inspiration. Ian I really like that saturated blue jacket but I wish you'd find a way to pose that doesn't look like you're practicing your plié.

Thanks for the suggestion Cruz and the second from HF. I really wish I had a tobacco brown or caramel brown wool trouser (the Panta caramel wool is amazing and would go well with all of my earth toned jackets much way out of my price range). Would a blue (not navy, lighter than navy blue) such as the howard yount tropical wool trouser in blue work with this jacket? I agree on a white shirt. I have always found french blue shirts to be somewhat problematic, what tie would one wear with a deep saturated shirt? Thanks for any help.

My bow-leggedness doesn't help much. I'll experiment on some more poses - thanks for the tip ;)

LOL - we need to bring back the SF secret handshake so I'll know it's you
On my way to Miami earlier this year I had board shorts, sandals, and a t-shirt with a pic of a t-rex captioned "t-rex hates push-ups", of course with obligatory holes... I got the death stare from a few frequent flyer snobs :(
