Try contacting Haspel. I have one of their pincord suits, and it's side-vented, with flat front trousers - I forget the model name, but I know that they did make a couple of different models of pincord/seersucker suits the season that I bought mine. The models, I am sure, don't change that much.
Otherwise, try the usual suspects - I can't remember whether Brooks's seersucker suits this year come with side vents (they have both Madison and Fitzgerald models).
Quote:+1 thanks for that
"kick ass crusty, i want a seersucker suit bad"
"Great look, Crusty."
"Oh man! This is GREAT!!!!!!!!"
"nice, I hope no one here tries to copy you though, the look is tricky."
"Holy crab cakes! Consecutive non-black-shoe posts...yes!"
"Lovely summer look."
"Would have gone with lighter or darker (black) shoes. Otherwise it's great."
Thank you, everyone (Renton, too), for your comments. Bourbon, I would have gone with white bucks today, but decided to tone it down a bit with the snuff suede Peals that I wore. Irate - glad to have proven that there are more than just black shoes in my closet. Fuuma, you are correct in noting that wearing seersucker is tricky - I made quite a botch of it in my first attempts last summer. It is very easy to go over the top, color-wise, as seersucker isn't the color anchor that a conventional suit is.
Thanks for that information - very useful
+1 on the monkstraps...
A rare fit from last week
Spoiler: These are from 3 weeks ago
I was playing with my friend's camera
^ That room looks awesome and I dig the peep of red sock there.
In your spoiler pics, the shoes (country) seem incongruous to the pinstripe (city) suit. Though, we can't see the jacket, so I assume thats a suit. If its not, then the shoes are not the first thing you should be worrying about.
I am pretty sure I saw you standing outside
Since this is MC...
-Tighten your tie knot
-Tuck in that square 50%
-Use collar stays in your shirt collar
Looks pretty good otherwise, albeit the dark photo makes it hard to see detail.
I tried tying the knot tighter but it would not give and I didn't want to pull too much.
PS I just hurriedly tucked in for posterity sake, but thanks for the tip
And perhaps MC'er can understand this but I got off work and kept thinking the whole day why the hell my collars look so different than usual. Got home and saw my collar stays on my desk ... lol
Photo taken by bro w/ new DSLR...He should have used flash but the colors: Navy suit, purple tie, thin blue stripe shirt
gettoasty, I don't like the knit tie and bluchers with an otherwise formal ensemble. How about a grenadine and captoe balmorals?
he wears a size 40 jacket and his waist is around a 34...how is that athletic?....and im not offended Im just explaining to him that the wide pelvis has nothing to do with his muscular hips/legs....its his skeletal frame. I dont have a tape measure and I do not want to "stand down".
And citan, I didnt mean your shoulders are narrow, but they are narrow relative to your hip bones....for example look at spoo and you can see that his shoulders are much broader than his hip bones, same with NYRanger (and hes a weightlifter).
