1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    +so many 1's

Ian - I dig that suit, even the flying lapels, but that vest looks make you look like you're awash in buttons. Its just a button bonanza from top to bottom.

Balls - check. It's actually Lutwyche but I find them similar to TF's. Used to work frontline finance, now I'm just in the back office pushing paper and pulling strings :D
Thx. Jacket closed shows only the top 2 buttons of the vest... I guess it's ok for me, I never thought much about the height. And yes, shortened - good eye! Here's a clearer pic of the shortened jacket from months ago, sans vest:

i gotta ask this. sorry to sound like a moron. But can someone tell me exactly what an Adelaide is? I see them sometimes, and always remember that i like them, but not frequent enough to know exactly what they are.

As Stitchy has illustrated above - the U-shaped stitching around a closed vamp, as seen with the attached URL

stitchy, those shoes are too narrow for your feet.
My own feet hurt from looking at your pictures.
Hallux valgus seems to be a real pain in the ass, better buy wider shoes before you suffer from it.

nope, they are not. a touch loose even, and supremely comfortable.

i am sorry that you suffer from visually induced foot pain.

And also that the vamp and quarter are one piece: as opposed to any other kind of oxford, where there is a "swan neck" seam between vamp and quarter, or a balmoral, where the seam runs straight from the facing back around the heel.

Please explain to me why I can see the outline of pinky and ball pushed out of the natural lines of the shoe silhouette on both feet.
Imo this should not be the case in a well fitting pair of shoes.
Might be the shoe is too loose in the instep or heel but your forefoot seems very wide, too wide for the last the shoe is made on.

    ^ Nice!

    Hey Tirailleur,
I will also be transferring to West Africa mid next year?
How do you find wearing suits in 27-30C (80F) weather?

OT Question, how does cashmere clothing fare in the aforementioned weather situations?
