+1. Just not feeling it..too much going on and the denim killed it.
Trying to atone for my madras sins yesterday.
Barba linen pink stripe shirt
Vanda unlined 7 fold tie
Drakes Sealife cotton silk pochette
Panta cigar linen silk trou
DC Lewis “Matthew” dubmunx in alligator
The tie is nice
that tie is fantastic. i would have guessed it for an e. marinella. well done vanda.
I sometimes wonder if civilians see the creasing on unlined ties and think, "Why doesn't that guy get rid of that tie? It's all messed up!"
I think Victor's outfit here is very nice. It is not that showy considering once the jacket is button then no red stitches will be shown directly.
Secondly, what's wrong having only French cuff shirts? I am on Victor's side on this one as I also wears FC shirts with everything. Only those apparent 'conservative' people think they are only appopriate for suit... Those must only have shitty cufflinks and don't own a range of flashy and solemn ones.
Regarding the colour button holes, what's wrong with it? I am convinced that if some old tailor does it regularly then no one will give a word about it. I believed some SF members, including me, loves Tom Ford, but their five button cuff with the extra long first cuff is just as showy and flashy as a coloured cuff.
P.S I love those Russian style humor
Hey Victor, I wonder do you bespoke your jeans? or are they some branded ones which you brought regularly in shops?
Secondly, I think your trousers always looks great but for jeans I inevitably thi k they should have a tighter leg end, that will definitely make you look taller in pictures.
Above is also a balanced and unique outfit
i didnt even notice, i was too busy admiring its beautiful pattern.
Interesting. For me it's the jacket what doesn't belong there.
Same here. I feel the jacket is not casual enough to complement the other components. An unstructured jacket in cotton or linen would enhance the look, IMO.
Looking at it again - yes the jacket does look out of place rather then the jeans. Still though I think slightly more tapered jeans would look better. Maybe its the stitching on the denim that's throwing me off.
That was pretty much my reaction, yeah. It looks like it needs to be pressed, or whatever the heck you necktie people do when a tie looks like it was stuffed into an envelope and sent cross country.
Maybe it's just me, but if ever there was an outfit that called for skipping the French cuffs, this was it.
WHY DO YOU HATE RUSSIANS SO MUCH
