i have seen a few of your posts and i think you should lurk more before posting. I dont want to be mean but I am not a fan of almost every fit you have posted. fits of different pieces are not where they should be and the different pieces dont work together. just my 0.02

How about something more constructive other than advising him to stop posting. Like this:

You can do much better with denim for this fit. The cut and wash are very dated and unflattering, not to mention that cuff is doing you know favors. The pants are far to informal for those shoes and the top half. The color combination up top is fine, and I really like the orange here. Go git you some newer cut jeans, and go for a length that fits you better.

Edit: Oh, and get that cable box on the left fixed. That's a fire hazard.

a few people have commented on his fits and i explained that his individual pieces dont work together. just giving my feedback, i know it takes a lot to post your fits for criticism but IMO the fits havent gotten better

I don't disagree with you on this. I too dislike SS's fits the vast majority of the time. But I think everyone deserves a shot if they are at least efforting, which I believe he is.

If this wasn't a blazer, and the jeans were hemmed properly, this might have worked better (I agree; the top half is too business for the bottom's casual). I, too, dislike this kind of wash, but I think some people can pull it off. I would have gone with brown loafers, personally. (Or, at least, a green belt.)

I really don't want you to be discouraged, because, I think with time, you could learn a lot, and post some really good stuff. Sometimes, people in SF can be assholes; just ignore them--they'll just get grey before you. ;)

I pretty much agree with Irate..

Get yourself a T-shirt or other casual shirt to wear with these jeans. Roll the cuff of the jeans down more because it makes you look stubby, and you don't need that in your life. I think you want as much height effect as you can, so lose the cuffs even. I think you want long, sheer, unrestricted... (those kind's of words)

Then get yourself a good pair of more formal trousers to wear with the top half of your outfit.

The top half looks great by the way. Blazer/SC/Jacket fits you well. Shirt and Tie are very neat. Colours are good, and i like how the PS mimic's the shirt/tie. :nodding:

The sunglasses give the effect of a bumble bee, or maybe Jackie Onassis Kennedy on a bad hair day. :embar:

I prefer southernstyle's fratty-kudzu ensembles to many others posted recently in this thread.

I do not say that to encourage what he's doing, but his decisions seem familiar while many others made seem rather alien to me.

I realize that many of you aren't American.

Nice progress. Replace denim with Levi's 511 slim (or something a bit more tapered below the knee), replace shirt with a more casual sport shirt top button undone, tie loose= winner, imo.

Dig the shoes - love the colors.
