Hey, nice purchases. Re: the BB jacket. We would need to see it buttoned to determine but I think it drapes well in your chest and shoulders. Good purchase, I have that coat. I would caution not to supress too much as the fitzgerald is more a tapered cut, not a true slim cut, and will look odd too tight in the middle given how the rest of the coat is proportioned.

The second suit, again, would need to be buttoned, but i like your pants in both fits. There seems to be a bit of shoulder "crinkle" perhapts due to the collar or the shoulders being too tight, esp on the right(?) shoulder. Someone with more tailoring expertise can chime in but I think it would be an easy fix if the rest of the jacket fits right.

Cool patterns. Nice textures. Love the loafers.
    Fits look oversized to me.

You seem to have your shoulders hunched forward in both pics. It also shows in your shirt collar, which looks either to big for you, or more likely your neck is jutting forward. Are you very tall, a lot of tall guys do this to try minimize their height. Put your shoulders back and button the SC then give us a closer look.

To me your trousers look at bit short. They don't even reach your shoes, let alone have a 'break', but maybe that's just how you American guys wear them. IMHO, it looks as though you couldn't afford enough cloth to allow the trousers to reach your shoes and so hemmed them 'half mast'. In your defence however, at least you bothered to hem the trousers, some guys on here just roll them up and seem to think that looks somehow stylish. I sometimes wonder why they don't just roll up the sleeves of their jackets when they too long as well. Maybe use a safety pin to cinch the waist of their jackets as well. It could be the start of an exciting new look, and no one would need tailors any longer.

Sorry, just getting my Ya Ya's out... :embar: Oh well, so it goes!

Well, regular maintenance for those includes eight-hour sessions hooked up to the service computer for reprogramming...

I kid you not, o/o, I was going to post today saying that we're in the middle of o/o's annual summer retreat from WAYWRN. Good to see you here, even with the shirt.

Looks real nice, except it looks like some of the weight of the coat is setting out towards the ends of the shoulder so the collar isn't setting around the neck as it should. Fair around the collar or even slightly loose, but the weight of the coat should be setting on the shoulders from the neck towards half way across the shoulders. Shoulder padding can be for fashions, but its real purpose is to keep the ends of the shoulder from collapsing- to keeping a nice shoulder line. Padding for other reasons would be fashion, and they are usually larger.

It is nice seeing the upper sleeve isn't bunching up with your lower arms up. Some sleeves I've seen on the forum, made by tailors, ride up when reaching forward, which is error. Your coat is nice cloth, too.

Nothing says summer to me more than an Aloha shirt worn with a jacket that has a ticket out pocket.
