I guess that is a bit of a shame as I enjoy wearing sportcoats more. I never thought I had an odd body type I guess, just thought I was average  Live and learn, hopefully my future purchases reflect a better image and past purchases can be altered a bit.

    Thanks for the feedback

Naw, you don't need Drakes. Kent Wang has some great knit ties, as well as Howard Yount. In my opinion, 2.75 inches should be your target. Your current ties look huge on you. You're wearing 40 year old unstylish CEO ties and trying to Sprezz, I just don't think it works.

You might be over thinking things in regard to your trousers. A flat front slim pant with a medium (or even short) break is what you want if you are a smaller guy. Elongating the legs (no cuffs if you are short), in your case, is not a bad thing. Your current photos showcase a super short break (unless I am blind) worn with somewhat full trousers. You need to wear a slimer pant if you want that look, currently youre rocking pipe status "floods". Slim my friend, slim is better! Not skin tight or skinny, slim.

Ralph is a legend and his style are clearly defined. I realize you are attempting to fuse different types of styles (kudos to you for having the stones as such a young man) the problem is your fits are contradicting one another. If you're going go italian you need higher armholes, overall tighter more fitted stuff.

Not hating on you, just trying to help.

Pro photog here, just thought I'd chime in and say this is poor advice. When an object (southernstyle) is in front of a bright light source (window), it immediately becomes the darkest thing in the room. Obviously this is the opposite of what we're looking for here. Especially if he's wearing dark colours. He'd be much better served by opening the blinds, making his bed, and standing in front of any of the other three walls. If it's possible, he should just switch spots with his camera.

I often feel like dispensing photographic advice (the only advice I'm qualified to give on this forum!) but haven't until now. While perusing the forums the past few months, I've noticed a distinct correlation between quality of photos and the number of "thumbs" received. Coincidence?

Anyways, back to lurking with me! Carry on, everyone.

Worth a requote ^^ Citan you've got a slim shape, that's obvious, and u don't need yr clothes to wear like a wetsuit to sho it.

IMO soft-structured jackets don't need a pinched waist to look good, and a decent physique shows without the supression because minimally structured clothes are more responsive to 3D movement.

    I do the same.
Anything going badly wrong on that 7 could easily cost more than the beater itself.

Bought it new? Have you had anything go wrong with it?

I didn't say you had an odd body type. You just have slightly wider hips. Nothing odd about that.

The contrast between a sport coat and pants happens right around the hips, which draws the eyes to that area even more. It gets accentuated further when the quarters are very open, which happens on a number of your coats. With a suit, you don't have that contrast, so someone is less likely to have their attention drawn to that area.

It's not a big deal. Wear sport coats if you prefer them. I'm exceptionally short. Sport coats and pants are not as flattering on me, because they divide me in half. I look better in suits, which elongate me. But I prefer sport coats, so I wear them instead.
