OK, I "googled" it. Wikipedia says it is from German origin.

An illusion caused by my holding a glass. I assure you that it's not longer than my thumb.

Hadn't considered that, to be honest. I've never had pants narrowed, and I love this suit too much to risk it. Maybe I'll try with some chinos I have.

    Cheers guys!

Was pleated, deeply and severally, but all round the back. Very comfortable.

Your optician should be able to adjust the Wayfarers (you may need to sign a waiver against damage claims) to sit more squarely on your face. It may be just that they were out of kilter for the shot but I have found that glasses generally seek their natural fit on one's face within minutes (if not seconds) of putting them on.

I like your fit in this pic and the doggeh is scrumptious!

Victor, you ever consider a bit more tie space and longer points on your shirt collars? You tie generous knots and having no tie space makes them buckle a bit. I find you can achieve a nicer tie arch with more space. Also, in my opinion the points of the collar look better when they hide under the lapels.

Maybe his optician already adjusted them to be like that to accomodate his crooked eyeballs? Don't make assumptions, you could offend some one...
