I knew you'd know what I was talking about. Burl walnut? Must be a Rolls or Bentley.
There's that good shot of you in a Kiton, or Borelli tan DB blazer, white henely ? shirt in a car. The DB was still buttoned of course. For some reason I feel the need to stare at that DB. Can't stop looking at it, don't know why.

That was in an English car without mustard...well, maybe just on the seats and carpet.

It depends on the car. I would say the mid tier cars like BMW, Benz and such are easily had used, or even leased if you have good credit and a job. When you get into the $300,000+ cars they hold more value, and is generally more difficult to be financed.

You are referring to super luxury lines at that price point. Luxury brands such as Lexus, Benz, and BMW are luxury. Yes I'm picking the fly **** out of the pepper here, but I'm in the car business so there you have it. Super luxury always retains it's value due to such limited production, quality of construction and materials, along with ridiculously high tech. But the flagships for the luxury brands devalue very quickly especially when the new generation versions come out. Prior generation models drop like a rock at that point.

In the front seat? Like a plebe?

A "plebe" is a freshman at West Point or at Navy.

A "pleb" is someone who craves the once-in-a-lifetime novelty of starting at the back of a black driver's cap.

Well, they're both short for plebeian, right? I doubt either is a real dictionary word.

You seem to know what you are talking about, so I won't dispute what you note except to say that sometimes, even a car in the "super luxury" class devalues very quickly.
