Some impressive (or unimpressive(?) not sure) parking behind you. Jacket looks a tad long and I would prefer a true 3-roll-2 for you (in terms of button placement). Digging the hand-finishing detail on those shoulders though.

Hello there. Making my first post on this forum, in this particular thread might be a bad idea, but I will try anyway.
Comments on the fit? A little wide in the waist?
I believe the gap in the collar-area of the shirt might be caused by the pose.

Hello there. Making my first post on styleforum out to be in this particular thread might be a bad idea, but I'll try anyway. Comments on the fit? To wide in the waist area? The gap in the collar-area is caused by my pose, I believe. Also, sorry about the questionable quality in some of these photos.

its a tough angle to get a good idea of the whole thing. i think your shirt collar is a tad short/needs more spread, and the belt comes off as a tad casual for the outfit. but outside of that i think its nice. welcome to the end of your life and financial freedom.

ps, the crotch shot is a nice touch, but not entirely necessary, and your photobucket face coloring skills need some work. :)

    Hi MC.

Any recommendations for good work shirts? All my casual shirts (BoO and Uniqlo japan) are too shrunken and the sleeves are all too short. Ideally I'd want something like 24.5 in. sleeve length at an inexpensive price. Uniqlo Japan is stupid short, do the US/J+ shirts have really short sleeves also? BBBF is again, too short.

Fit isn't too important, I'll probably check out (sigh) J.Crew but I'd much rather buy Uniqlo shirts. If anyone is an XS and willing to take measurements (sleeve, pit to pit, and shoulder) for me I'd be grateful.

Love the fit of the suit!

You can try Lands' End Canvas shirts. They won't be too fitted, but may work. Also, they often have free shipping promotions and you can return them at any Sears. Therefore, it's like trying them on in store without any financial loss.

If you don't care for quality and, most importantly, collar shape and size, H&M shirts are pretty slim with good length sleeves. I'm 5'10" and I had a couple for occasions when I needed a shirt, but it would get stained or otherwise damaged. They can be had for ~$15. Good deal no matter how you look at it.

MTM is always an option. I only wear MTM and would never go back to retail.

If you were to get J. Crew, I'd suggest shelling out an extra $50 or so and buying high-quality shirts from shopthefinest.com

taco, I might have asked in the past, I am not sure, but what industry do you work in? With these 100+ degree temps upon us in AZ, wearing a coat is something I cannot fathom. Dig the sockless look tho. :slayer:

I think your outfit fits you well, and good suit colour.
The suit is modern and the jacket 'skirt' is a little short, the trousers also have a low 'rise', but that is fashion for you.
Shoulders and sleeve length is good. Very narrow lapels will limit you in choice of width of tie..
The shirt collar could have longer blades and be a little more spread in order to end at the jacket lapel.
The Tie knot is done nicely and can be changed to a Double Four in Hand,.
The Pocket Square looks good, white square fold, just right.

Overall you look very smart. It appears that you have made a lot of effort. Good Stuff!! :nodding:
