I expect that you'll instruct me to burn the tie. I'm prepared. Shirt is light blue, btw-

Not at all. I'm not a Ferrari fan and I liked your outfit, so it's an easy choice for me :)

I believe that your initial post was seeking a fit critique. Although, like most have said, your pic doesn't allow a good view of the fit, I will point out the issues that I can see.

The first, and greatest issue is that the shoulder simply does not fit - and cannot be altered to fit. The shoulder seam appears to be at your bicep, as opposed to on top of your shoulder. Also, your cuff needs to be tightened just a bit. Other than that, not a great view of how things fit.

As to other issues - you need much more practice tying your tie. At a bare minimum, you should tighten that know up a bit. Also, pick up a few odd jackets here and there. Until you do, avoid wearing ties. The only acceptable time to wear a tie without a coat is while in the office, headed to the restroom - and many would argue that the coat should not be removed until inside the office restroom.

I like the tie with what you're wearing. Everything else is very subdued, so the tie works very well for me here.

    My suit arrived!

Interested in your overal fit comments (where fit does not equal "outfit"). How's the length of the jacket?

I know the shirt sleeves are too short, and I'd love something with more spread to the collar. In the process of finding which manufacturer I'll be replacing my hated BR shirts with. Wish I could find a retailer for Kiton/Borelli/etc. in the GTA. I'd love to try a few of these on... but I digress.

Apparently I felt like revisiting 1962 today. I came in wearing this:

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Then I saw that Will suggested emulating this (http://asuitablewardrobe.dynend.com/2012/05/worthy-of-emulation.html):

    So I did:

Of course, I was also emulating it in 1987:

    And pre-emulating it in 1952:

Other issues aside, silk squares should never be folded.

Your shirt collar needs work. The points are too shallow.

Jacket looks like it fits very nicely. Trousers are bit tight looking from this angle.

The shoes are very conspicuously square. Don't like them.
