The ties are the tits.
Gosh, I was hoping that the polka dots on the tie would distract you from noticing the stripes. Darn! Yeah....I'm treading on thin ice.
Another suit when I need to get the sleeve taken up. I think my arms are shrinking...
Spoiler: Warning: Spoiler!
IST66, lovely threads but what on earth are you doing with your tie?
Anden - seriously, that fit is all over the place in terms of colour, cut, fabrics. I usually think you are just on the right side of eclectic, but this doesn't work at all for me.
MrChris et all, thank you. The purple tie is a madder from Brooks Brothers.
Your honest comment made me laugh.I must have been very tired this morning. The FU trousers should probably be worn in another way...
Sorry to pile on here, but...
The rise on those pants is laughably short. Far too short for anything other than a t-shirt. Though you mentioned "pulling them up," it's clear that they sit on your hips as they do in the picture. The tie tells the story.
The top is way too blah/conservative for the bottom. When I wear GTH pants I am sure to be conservative on top, but the tie and shirt look like they came as a package deal from Geoffrey Beene.
The socks are too close in color to the pants. Lose them entirely.
I will say that I don't think the jacket is too short, if you intend to only wear it casually (as you have attempted here). With jeans or rumpled chinos, a shorter jacket complements the more casual look.
Yes. Into a pit of fire, for instance.
I think your outfit is excellent, beautiful shirt, collar, tie, knot, blazer, trousers.... all good.
BUT those White blazer buttons, they gotta go, they are not cool at all. Black ones, Gold ones. Silver ones.
Always an excellent outfit, and again today
+1. I really like this particular combo.
