For the many n00bs here, I just want to note that niidawg3 originated the usage of the term "deets" on StyFo.

He used it for awhile alone, and then it spread suddenly.

shiny tie doesn't seem to hold up with the rest of the excellent and well-cut combo; would definitely swap it out for a textured, or better yet a knit tie, solid wool, or cashmere tie.

After a day with both rain and threat of demonstrators from the Occupy Wall Street movement, I am back in a suit again.

I like the ensemble, very nice!

Are you a Wall Street guy? Or do OWS people simply target every person looking like a banker?

I'm in IT for a large bank, and my office is on Wall St., so, in some senses, I am a "Wall St. guy", and I don't think that the OWS crowd is so discerning so as NOT to target every person who looks like a banker, hence - yes to both questions.

Thanks, in any case, for the compliment.

Not feeling today's ensemble. I probably should have just went tie less. Oh well. New summer blazer from b&s, first experience with howard yount. I sized up because the 40 measurements were snug. The previous owner had the waist slimmed, I will let it out and let the sleeves down as well. Concerned the chest/shoulders (too much drape?) are too big from going to a 40 to a 42, even though the measurements aren't much different than my other jackets. Thoughts? I would like to purchase more HY jackets in the future, quality is good for the price and I like the wider lapels but can't decide on a size.
