yeah your compassion is reeeaaally coming through in that comment...
true colors it seems.... smh
i like you.
Yey or ney on these shoes? AE Hinsdale. Looking for a brown wingtip that is versatile. FWIW, I have tried on some c&j and peal shoes and the narrower widths of those lasts kill my feet which are rather wide. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help guys
Nice color, style reminds me a bit of the McClain. What last are the Hinsdale on.
Fixed that for you Mister. Flipped it round, and... hopefully improved the colours.
How do you like your new Pocket Square. I think it looks pretty cool. Let me know that you think.
I like your outfit a lot. Jacket has beautiful texture with the herringbone. I also notice a Glen-Check in the jacket of the colour of the Tie, well done. The tie, nice single knot with dimple is cool too. Tie is Cinched up nice and tight in the collar V, the collar fits well too. I like the fact that you have the texture and herringbone pattern in you jacket with large checks, and the stripes in your shirt and then the plain sheen ( I notice a texture there too since i edited it) of your tie.
To improve from here. I would say a white cotton PS with a square fold, nothing too fancy, to finish it off.
Maybe also progress to a Double FIH knot in your tie.
Note: For this outfit a black belt and shoes would be best.
I don't really like the proportions of the wing cap. ney.
Spoo, do you have an internship available? I fear after showing my wife your fits she is *ahem* less than satisfied with my sartorial decisions.
You are a god.
You are too kind, but I am far from such. Just an ordinary guy who fucks up probably just as much as I come close to getting it right.
Also, probably best not to do the "Hey honey, Im checking out what dudes are wearing on the interwebz, take a look at this guy!"
Spoo you're a god? which one? or The One?
They work for me. I like the slightly englongated proportion. Looks more English than American to my eye.
by no means The God of Israel, but a god of men's style.
I think she'd be more worried if I was checking out dudes NOT wearing anything.
She appreciates the effort and I'm sure she's happy I'm here as her friends husbands are mostly the LL Bean/Carhartt/NASCAR/Red Sox type dressers.
Try a tattersail shirt with that jacket. You'll be amazed at how much better it will look. Even just a textured oxford cloth or twill. Button downs go well with heavy tweed as well.
Something about the stripes on the shirt seem too city to go with the tweed.
Although this is looking purdy good overall.
