1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I have a lot of shoes left - trust me on this - and a Manhattan apartment. That is part of the motivation for the donation.

Giving up the BB Peals is the most painful of the donations, but the recent purchase of the black Finsburys, which I prefer (albeit slightly), and the lack of storage space in my apartment, it had to happen. Sorry, Mr. Butch.

Please excuse the jacket sleeve bulge. Shirt sleeve was rolled underneath.

That's partly the angle re. tie knot, but you're quite right about the collar. This and yesterday's actually, part of a set of shirts I had done that I am not really getting on with. I'm in consultation with Dr Spoo about some ready-made additions.[IMG]

My tailor has reduced the top of the shoulders on several jackets of mine with good results. He's experienced in making suits, not just your average seamstress. It's expensive but worth it. On most RTW jackets I try on, chest and hips fit well (I can't size down) but shoulders are always wide...

Only noticed after taking pictures that my PS was trying to escape. It was promptly returned to it's proper position...

I feel validated in my satorial choices today as I'm wearing virtually the same outfit today, albeit in a smaller size.

And I feel validated that you are judging your own validation against my attire :satisfied:

Question, can a satin backed vest be worn without a jacket?

PT, I know this has been discussed before, but I really do think you need to be mindful of your chest when getting dressed. A larger, developed chest makes it hard to wear items with a lot of waist suppression and look natural. Especially when this tight-tailoring creates curves (as is the case with your vest above), it can make your proportions look quite off. I think a straighter, slightly boxier silhouette might flatter your build more. Though, to be honest, I don't think wearing a vest alone will ever do your body that many favors. Larger shoulders on jackets will help alleviate the chest appearance issue, but when it's just a vest there's no way to manipulate the proportions. Just my $0.02.

The last few fits (barring the sandals from last week) have been much better than the really out there fits you've worn in the past and I like this one too, PT.
By the way, has anyone commented on your similarity to Tommy Lee Jones before?
