^ I think you cop a lot of crap based on your fits but I've always liked the individual pieces you put together, especially the ties and shoes. Maybe you could benefit from a little less waist suppression and pants which are not so tapered, but that's up to the individual. Either way I think your outfits are consistently good.

Well for me the PS makes this outfit sing (along with the tie). A more conservative PS would look good too but this is great.

Well Anden. I agree that your PS makes your last outfit sing (along with the tie). Your outfit fits you as well. There's a thing.

But luminous pink, I think not!! It's loud, and brash, and in your face in an FU kinda way. Definitely no class, or style for that matter.

    Thanks [IMG]

I work in the fashion industry. That's probably why I can get away with most of these fits lol. I was the only intern that came to work with suits. I was constatnylt mistaken for a High titled employee [IMG]

Thought #1: I can never really tell how your jackets fit, because your shoulders and arms are always positioned in funny ways
Thought #2: When a pair of trousers becomes as slim as yours are, a break turns into a stack. I think you should shorten the pants.
Thought #3: Your third picture doesn't depict more drape than the first two, it shows a more sculpted fit and more of a neapolitan tug (which, I think, looks better with your slim pants).

Depending upon who you see about this, it can get quite expensive.

I agree that deanbn's comments were way over the line. Some of what he said was just standard herd-instinct stuff, but some was just opinion masquerading as fact (like the comment on pocket squares). In addition, when considering jacket length, one has to pay attention to whole body proportions not just rely on simple rules. Timotune is slim and short. The combination means that a jacket of what many would consider to be the 'proper' length would look too long for him, especially contempory standards. And yes, standards of jacket length have changed and have not remained eternal over the last two centuries - the fashion and style thing has some merit when you come to outrageously bad dressing (MC Hammer pants for example, or leisure suits), but trying to apply it to force others to conform to narrow generic norms turns it into a cliché. The more 'mod' style of which Timotune's look makes fairly conservative allusions towards, has been around since the early 1960s (that's 50 years now) and shows no sign of going away - how long is it before fashion becomes style? The 'critique' also pays no account of the fact that actually Timotune has been paying a lot of attention to the more constructive feedback he has got here, while at the same time retaining the element of what makes it his look and not just some generic look.
