Overall it looks great, but PS and tie too matchy, plus I have no love of the belt, although very nice one but not sure to be used with a suit.

Better lighting would help the pictures as well.

    Well done

It never occurred to me, but you have great hands for the piano. I'm jealous. I think it is difficult, maybe even wrong, to match a suit coat with jeans, but, here, it looks right.

A dip in temperature, and I'm back to suits. Note that I've sampled the SF tainted Kool-Aid, and have recently purchased a brown tie - an experiment for me, to be sure.

    Suit - BB
    Shirt - Charles Tyrwhitt
    Tie - JAB
    Cufflinks - Liberty of London
    PS - Ashear
Shoes - Harris, via Barney's NYC

The sleeves look a bit short, no? The Ps is ''popping'' out a bit would make it nicer, socks maybe little to much. But very nice otherwise. Like the watch how you changed the strap to leather, you can never go wrong with a submariner :)

id like this a lot more if the trous werent tight rolled. i can even get past the cargo pocketsw with the DB, but i cant get with the rolled trous. maybe with a single breasted coat, not my steez though.

i will say you look comfortable in it.

Agree. On the other hand, a person gets the most compliments when being daring. On the OTHER other hand, there is daring and then there is suicidal. =oD

This is the Wooster/Peskowitz/blogger thing that I just don't get - no offense. Wooster takes it to an even further extreme with cargo pants and combat boots. What I can never quite grasp is at what venue/setting would a half "dressy" (i.e. db and tie) and half casual (tight cargo pants, colorful socks, double monks) outfit be suitable? I saw Wooster a few months back at Bruce Boyer's book signing at Leffot and its just as jarring visually in person.

But, then again, those guys are all fashion directors for stores like BG, Bloomingdales, Gilt, etc., so what do I know? Maybe you're just ahead of my curve, friend. . .
