I'm thinking of nailing a tie rail by my side of the room... I just have to convince my wife somehow... A new pair of shoes for her might do the trick

 almost nothing a nice pair of shoes can't fix!! Good luck! :nodding:

But I think it's more useful to decide what you want to get out of the board before posting pics.

Personally?

I have great taste in materials, I can tell when colors work and when they don't, combining patterns and which should be left in isolation comes naturally, and I know fits very intuitively.

Except on me. I have a huge blindspot there. Even just posting a (decent) pic usually tells me instantly whether or not I should have put a particular outfit together the way I did, long before SVB or Fuuma tell me I look like a clown.

Thanks for the thumbs up everyone.

Oh I forgot to make my joke when I posted the pics. Don't tell :foo: about this jacket. I hear he has something of a dislike for structured DBs...

Had to wake up annoyingly early yesterday to teach on a course, so wore a tie bright enough to raise the dead:

Today, a visual representation of what happens when you realise a cufflink is undone as the camera timer ticks down. Apologies for the resultant hand-blurring...

I recently posed for the photographer Anthony Lycett. Another photograph and an article about his Self Styled project will appear on my Mode Parade column this week:

Thank you all for your kind comments from this Saturday's posting. The lack of flash was due simply to the increased ambient light in my apartment several hours after my normal early morning photo session, and yes, I like the results better, too. Maybe with the move towards the summer solstice, I will be able to crank out some more flashless shots.

As to Spoo's question of "what was the occasion?", the occasion was a visit to Princeton, NJ, to see the town, the university's art museum, and to meet Liam O. Considering the context of my acquaintance with young Liam, my partner suggested that it might be fun to suit up for the occasion, which it turned out to be, though for a sunny Saturday, I think that we were the only two men wearing ties in the entire town. We had the pleasure of a leisurely conversation with Liam in his place of employment, which made an enjoyable end to a most pleasant, if vigorous day - we were on our feet for a great deal of it.

Picture posting is in WAYWRN MC Casual - today's weather in NYC invites a preview of summer.

yo, I put a dimple in your dimple so you can swag while you swag.

Haha I knew it wasn't a perfect knot this morning but I hadn't even noticed that second dimple.

I had no time nor inclination to bother retying it. Thanks for pointing it out, gave me a good laugh to start the day.
