i don't think BB works for you as well as you might think
i think you would be better served with a totally different brand and cut
am i alone in thinking this?
there is always something off about the fit, especially around the shoulders and/or chest
    which is a big deal
with the money you've been spending on BB stuff, i'm sure you could venture into other brands that may suit you better

hmm I dunno. Maybe I am completely blind but I think it fits me ok. Shoulder ends on my shoulder, lapels lay flat, feels comfortable. I appreciate the critique and I always try new things but I am not sure I see how it feels off to you. I have been rather happy since I sized up and when my body settles after my next buck cycle I am going to get some stuff tailored. I have a caruso suit and corneliani sportcoat lined up maybe those will look better to you. I am rather limited in what I can buy and I happen to get a good discount there so...yeah. :(

Also, I am somewhat barrel chested and have rather angular shoulders from the front. more structured shoulders look bad on me I believe.

I agree with RomeO. This jacket gives you a pear-shaped silhouette. You can do -- and have done -- much better.

maybe let the waist out of the jacket? it is established I have wider thighs and I need to do this on a few of my jackets. I assure you I am not pear-shaped. I am not trying to be defensive because what I see, and others see in person, seems to be different, so it may be the angle I photographed today. Here is a chest level angle..same issues? Just trying to find that sweet spot I guess with help from you guys.

FWIW, I think they look good. I'd be willing to bet that you look great in person, from a different angle and while moving.

I get what Rome and TB are saying though, I am kinda arching my back a bit, may contribute to the pear shape. I pretty much have no stomach. I think I need to have less waist suppression so the jacket doesn't hourglass so much throwing the proportions off.

This forum is as much an exercise in photography as it is in dressing well. It's even more pronounced on the other side as there aren't as many "rules."

That's why it's better to have the camera at chest level and as far away as possible.

i can see it in your pics without a jacket on that you are in good shape
but the moment you do put on a jacket, it does not flatter you
so something is off with the fit
that's what you need to track down

have you posted your fit pics in the tailor thread?
i think you just need to go out and try on some other brands

i went to the shopthefinest warehouse once
tried on some borrelli and attolini jackets and o...m...g.... they fit wonderfully
but they were way out of my budget so i had to leave empty handed
BB fits me well enough and it's much more affordable with the sales and gift cards (as well as B&S offerings here)
so i am sticking with it for now
but i think BB works out better for me than for you
you might need to find something else that works better in similar price range
