Hard to tell, but it looks too short. Is there an issue with the shoulder that is on the left in the picture? Maybe it is the lighting. It's a pretty coat, though!

its a 3 button jacket, not a 2 button. you cant iron down lapels like that and get away with it ( the redundant button hole is too much of a give away). Just button it properly but leave the bottom button undone. Its a nice pattern though

it's called a 3 roll 2 and yes you are right you can't iron a three button suit into a two button suit but this one came like this from the tailor. it can be found on a lot of italian and savile row suits...

Yeah, sorry F.Corb, I usually edit that out...was in a rush.

Rome, it was a 40R. Was a ridiculous upmark on the original price (something stupid like $3500 or some crap, thanks Needless Markup). It was a little over 400 with their additional discount I think. The camera shot was crap as I was in a rush and wanted a quick opinion.

I ended up passing on both. Sadly, they were both not so great for the price in terms of fit. There was also no seam allowances for alterations of any kind, even in the sleeves. So, beware if you seem them at your nearest discount center. The quality was outstanding though and I really hope I can find something similar in the future.

Thanks for the feedback guys. was cool to get such quick feedback.

I found a Zegna roma sportcoat at the Saks outlet but it was hardly discounted. Going to keep an eye on it over the summer to see if they mark it down. Stuff like that rarely sells in MI!

That is some serious taper on a pleated pant. I haven't seen a pleated khaki in forever! Personally I think you need something less fitted as those are almost skinny jean territory.

I'm going to slice an opening in the seam of leg from leg opening to 6" up leg and install zipper systems.
