    2. no pocket square with black tie
    3. Jacket too wide in the neck
    4. Sports (chunky) Watch with black tie
    5. Bangle with black tie (right wrist)
    6. is the bow pre-tied?

    Agreed. The Donaghy character is based on Lorne Michaels, and according to a recent Google image search, Michaels doesn't button both buttons on his suit jackets. So this appears to be a costume dept. goof.

    Or I suppose one might call it a "character flaw."

    Back in the early seasons when Alec was still a lot fatter, I noticed he almost always buttoned both buttons. In later seasons, when Alec found out in real life that he is allergic to sugar, carbs and red meat he changed his nutrition and lost a lot of weight. Suddenly you would see him wearing his suits on 30 rock the proper way. I figured it was his way of trying to hide his weight. But then again when seeing pics of him wearing zip off pants next to Steve martin, one can doubt his sense of fashion.
