I'm also a Man Utd fan (Long story)
Go Leeds United!
your eyes stare into my soul...
Which shoulders look better on me?
I'm also not sure about the one button. On the blue suit, the lack of the second buttonhole seems to draw too much attention to the only button.
Both pics: Kent Wang head to toe
What he said, and the fact that the waistcoat is protruding significantly forward of the waistband of the trousers is not helping the general perception of the fit of the grey suit.

Again with a glimpse of my C&J Westfields for a more complete picture:
Yeah, top one looks better. As for the one button, perhaps just a button point ever so slightly lower and quarters more open would help it to not look like they forgot to add a bottom button?
Kent, I know it's perilous for me to go (somewhat) against Vox, but I think the shoulders look fine on both, and you should choose which one you like better. Or, don't choose and have a mix of shoulder types in your closet. The other fit issues raised are worth considering, though.
Agreed.... but there seems to be more problems than just the waistcoat in that grey suit... it really looks outta sorts.. the trouser cut, jacket fit, everything really is not good here, sorry.
(btw... I've been on vacation for the past 10 days so just trying to catch up.. almost 50 pages since I left!)
I received my 1930's suit back from my new tailors.
And now with my favorite blue-gray fedora so I can go out on the town.
