Agree. The blue just looks much better to my eye. I've made a similar adjustment with my jackets, and I'm quite pleased with the outcome.

    Its my partner's Cheesesteak hat.

I wish I had a collection of these visual pun Chipps similar to yours. I believe this particular tie heralded from Sissy Spacerock. It was then bequethed to Mike B., who then bequeathed it to me. The Circle of Life.

Some cheap RayBan clones from the local discount eyewear store that took my insurance.

Alas, we suffered the sting of defeat. Our recipe was rather spicy and meaty. We used jalapeno, long hot, and scotch bonnet peppers. As for meat, we included bacon, steak, two types of spicy sausage, and scrapple (link provided for those unfortunate souls who live outside the Philly area and have never had scrapple).

We have a round two this weekend, so recipe will be posted thereafter.

@ Lufty: I used to moan about your dodgy barnet and geggs (hair and glasses) ages ago but in your hiatus it looks like you've made massive improvements in both. Well done.

@Kappelan: not crazy about those big lapels but your outfit is a great spring summer look. Nice!

CP, your jacket has a dual personality. The button side is 3/2 and the buttonhole side is a hard 3

I like it a lot! :) The cuffs are a tad long for my tastes, but nothing wrong with the length they are! I, personally, would use a different colour tie; there are so many which would work (orange, grey, brown, red, green, possibly, purple)--I think there's too much blue! The fit is nice, and the lapels are spectacular! :D

I think the jacket is small (arms and length) and to this outfit would a pair of acute shoes look better. Those you have on now look so wide and big. Example for a good shoe to this outfit would be C&J Hallam. Other then that it looks pretty good, the tie goes well with the shirt and rest of the outfit.

I am a bit embarrassed to post today. First, I experimented with my tie choice as black umbrella suggested I try orange with this suit. Second, I decided to try to take a full length picture and a combination of poor lighting and I am sure a crappy angle/camera phone exaggerated all the problems I have with my fits. I guess the reality is that this is my body and I have to deal with it, as I am in good shape and hardly at all overweight. Mainly, in the hips/shoulders, the full length picture just exacerbates all these problems and the overall largeness of the jacket. Suggestions for how to tailor things better are welcome.
