Sheepy, are the colors true to life in the pic? If so, yowza.
BTW: Jump the shark jumped the shark three years ago.
Dunno if a tailor can shorten the jacket an inch to make a difference without screwing the balance, but as prev noted by others trousers are really long/ go for almost no break instead. To me, this could be an example of how certain brands may not suit a particular person-- kiton jackets are cut much too long for me if purchased in the 'regular' length, so I mostly get Isaia, which seems a better fit and cut for me overall (and can do MTM for around 3k). Purple label is also still a great suit for me, but very expensive these days.
Yeah, I know, I need some new clothes! I'd explain why I am obsessed with these shoes, but you'd laugh. (It's because they are comfy.) Need a haircut, too.
Shorten the jacket is not difficult at all. But the hip pockets would look ridiculously low..
Love the way the tweed and suede come together. Also digging the tie; I find anything with over 40% of white or silver in neckwear very difficult to pull off, and you do it very well.
Not so sure how I feel about the red tie in combination with the lilac sweater. The jacket looks cashmerey soft.
Damn, this thread fills up fast. I've just gone through 500 posts. Lot's of good stuff guys. I'm off to the tailor, results will hopefully be posted later on.
Who is your tailor?
Actually I'm trying out a new alterations tailor: Slottsstadens skrädderi (i.e. new to me). They're located 100 m door-to-door from where i live, so it seemed convenient. I'll get back with details on the quality of their work if you're thinking about getting any changes done to anything in your wardrobe.
