well it was a compliment, though just reminded me of something i wouldn't necessarily see as much of this century.

today's pick is even better (would prefer sans bowtie but that's your call not mine  )

Hmm, I would think different seeing to how much time you set aside to photograph and post pics for total strangers on an daily basis.

OK, but what happened to Nas' career afterward. Jay's? Sit down son. And pull your shoes up.

What you don't like them, teh bewbs?

+1. My guess is the look would be something like this

Clearly you have never been to Powell's Books in downtown Portland, OR. Then again I haven't been to Nicholas Hoare.

I think I get the look you're going for here, and it's eye-catching. For me, the tie you've chosen isn't quite congruent with it though. A knit in the same colour(s) might have pulled it all together better.

Shame your pics are so difficult to make out, because I think your fits may be good. If you get the chance to take a shot somewhere there's a little more light, it would be interesting to see.

Our almost unbelievably good stretch of sunny & warm weather marches on...

Great pictures. Really nice outfit. As a matter of principle, I will withhold my thumb-up because of the gloves in breast pocket.

Continuing my exploration of loud ties against sober backgrounds... If this classic paisley pattern was 4" wide it wouldn't work, but I think it does at 3". No idea who the maker is. It's lightweight, silk and made in Italy but the maker's label was cut-out. Shirt is a contrast collar and cuffs thing from Dunhill (but not in the slim fit I would normally favour). Links are official Prefectural Govenment of Toyama Prefecture in Japan (long story). PS is a woven Japanese indigo woman's handkerchief (yes, of course I also wear my wife's underwear...). Same boring Daks suit as last time. It's really about the shirt and tie here.
