I really like the business look, but have you done your top button up?
Also a cleaner shave would be nice

    Thanks for your comments, friends:

ianGP "This is one of the top I'd pick from your outfits!"

sugarbutch "I might prefer a bit more contrast between tie and PS, but really nice."

I agree with Sugarbutch. The color of the tie is copper; the suit is basically navy blue. Any suggestions, besides white?

A click on the pic seems to bring the true color.

Citan1145 "wow! it turned out great good sir! would love a robo pose front on picture but looks awesome"

    Kappelan

deandbn "Very Nice. BTW just listening to Mozart's Clarinet concerto. It's about as beautiful as your outfit."

This concerto is heavenly. Everything that Mozart composed is perfect. Written in the last year of his life, this concerto is his most sublime. My favorite recording, still, is of Robert Marcellus and the Cleveland Orchestra with Szell.

PS doesn't pop because it's too close a match to the shirt. Socks would have been better matched to your suit or in a contrasting color, rather than matching the shoes. Tie doesn't do anything for me, but that's just a personal preference. Shoes don't seem formal enough for a pinstripe suit. Jacket appears to fit well, but I'm not seeing enough shirt cuff. It's not always a bad idea to wear a button down collar with a suit, but I don't think it's a good look with something as banker-ish as a pinstripe. Your robot pose is one of the best I've ever seen.

If your comment is in reference to me, please note that I dress for me, not for opinions of total strangers (unless those strangers have some insight that I find useful, which is in your case, has never been the case).

    ^ your PS disappearing !!

upr_crust - as i commented, "a return to the classic conservatism !" now, do you take the fit pics and then remove to show the individual closeups of items, or is that image order not chronological :puzzled:

chef - c'est parfait. even the double monks and filson (256??) are working nice here. dark earthy tones to go with fuzzy furry speckled wool? your pocket square looks like a folded kufi ! the closeup of fabrics

merci mon pote. I see how you may like the palette there... but the shirt is cotton! :)eek:)

    Filson is 257 (I think) and square is a brown mini-gingham linen so I understand the reference - here's a close-up

The photo close up of suit with accessories is taken the evening before, after I figure out what I'm going to wear (and whether it will work - not always a science :embar:) - I couldn't tidily undo what I've donned in the morning and get to work on a timely basis.
