NYC is expecting an afternoon thunderstorm, with significantly higher temperatures than we've had the last few days, hence the lack of outerwear, and the semi-casual attire (soon to visit the dry cleaner). I also experimented with lowering the camera for the standing shots - an experiment I do think that I shall repeat.

    SC and tie - BB
    Shirt - LE
    Trousers - JAB
    PS - no name brand
    Shoes - J & M

I hate the shoulders, but love that you chose them and posted them here. It's great to see, even if I really dislike the result. BTW, what cloth is the first shirt made from please?

not too fond of the shirt/tie/ps combo.... they're all too similar in color. Or maybe its the pics.

Could be pics. Or they could indeed be too close in colour. I'll let you decide, by telling you that the shirt is plain/bright white, as is the square. The tie is a sort of baby blue with reddish accents. The suit is navy and the shoes are a dark brownish-red. The photos have a slight blue cast to them, but maybe not enough to eliminate the similarity enough?

I can't get behind the tie on this one. It seems a bit too electrified for your complexion.

As for the new camera position, why not post a side by side of one at a previous setting next to this current setting?

Holdfast, I'm not a fan of the tie itself but it doesn't matter - you look very sharp today. Big thumb up

Fritzl, that's right, it is not Vass. These were made by Buday a long time ago. Last is similar to one of those used by Vass, however, the end-result is usually much nicer there.

Today I passed by at Vass and realized that the renovation works someone mentioned on this forum earlier is not an extension of the shop but it is a new opening of Buday shoes right next to Vass. And surprisingly there is a new pop-up store just 20 meters off that also sells handmade shoes (Rozsnyai). Rebirth of Hungarian shoe making:)

^ chef, you're not wearing your seat-belt. i like the recent fuzzies though. i think your shirt color (can't tell, contrast too high) is going nicely with the tie. personal preference ~ would have picked a slightly darker jacket, but i think this is due to the contrast again.

Kappelan - nice worki like the gramps jacket

upr_crust the top half reminds me of nowruz, the celebration of the arrival of spring. let's all rejoice for the new season !

holdfast - perfect (in my opinion, which is based on colors and patterns etc rather than usual critiques...) though would like one shade darker tie
