Hey all,
Long time no post. Got the green jacket about two months back and finally managed to get some pictures the other day:
WAYWT323121.jpg

WAYWT323122.jpg

Replaced the metal buttons with brown horn, and re-cut the pants.
Forrest green "Sidi" (judging by online research, a Mexican brand?) DB jacket.
Blue T&A shirt.
Red/blue/light blue tie.
Light blue plaid PS.
Gray H&M wool pants.
Brown Dockers belt.
Brown Sundial Norwegian shoes.
Comments and suggestions always welcome!
And yes, I know someone will bring up the damn "Master's Green Jacket" by posting this.

You have continued to improve, keep it up.

So Vox, it just occured to me that I never asked if you belonged to:
1) The Skull and Bones
2) The Freemasons
3) The Illuminati
4) Other Obscure Secret Society

5) All of the above
Saw this picture and it all fell into place...

Going to the court ;)

^ Um, how often do you hear asians speaking english and throwing "mate" in at the end of every sentence?  :puzzled:

Sorry, are we crossing wires?  Unimportant point anyways :p

That's the 2nd time you've recommended a cotton PS - duly noted for next time ;)

Just because I said it twice doesn't mean that I'm right, of course, but several other SF members have convinced me that a cotton or linen PS helps to bridge the "formality gap" between blazer and jeans. I have drunk that particular glass of Kool-Aid.

Thanks, gentlemen, for your comments.

ianGP "this bow tie! :inlove:"

deandbn

Threadbearer "Like many of your jackets, this one looks boxy. I like what you've done with the accessories."

Kappelan "Lovely bow tie"

inlandisland "Natty."

Imhoff "Bow tie is phenomenal. And is that the SF website in the background I see... :)"

MarcInDentonTx "That shirt.. Niiiice."

Anden "Great bow tie!"

Citan1145 "awesome shirt and beautiful bow. that the new one? looks great today. would like to see robo pose"

FlyingMonkey "Not sure about the suit, but that's the best bow-tie I've seen you wear."

Now, Threadbearer, I'm sure you meant "Bach-sy" :D

I love this shirt, but I have a difficult time finding the right tie. I have worn it with a solid pink tie, and that seems to work. Suggestions would be welcome. A click on the pic brings a better visual of the shirt.

Been off for a week on the couch with tonsillitis

Details
Suit: Herringbone Sydney
Shirt: Cottonwork
Tie: Henry Carter Neckwear
Shoes: Carmina Brown captoe
EDIT: middle and bottom photos are the best representation of colour

Hey I like your consistent conservative business dress fits, just wonder about the quality of Herringbone Sydney, are they fully canvassed?

Some people are really going to hate this... I kept it low key except the really FU tie (and yes, I did cinch up the knot after taking this photo).

Daks plus Dunhill plus Duchamp (and vintage cufflinks). Not seen: black Testoni austerity brogues.

the colour of the tie is very hard to match, but you did a great job....

I think the tie will look greater on lighter colour suits
