Wait- a cotton jacket with a contrast collar shirt. Doesn't that violate some law of nature?

I think you have to jettison that shirt and tie (in fact, burn the tie) and replace the shirt with something else before this is going to work.

having a hard time with the loose twill pants and the monks personally. I like everything independent of the other elements, and I like the colors, I just don't like the assembled whole :(

(Don't know why trousers are bunching at feet; they are of length.)

I really love the colour and texture of this YY jacket. Can I ask what is the composition of the material?

My humblé little opinion is that you should skip the square. There are so many other elements to the outfit - blazer, trousers, monks, contrast collar, standout tie, tie clip - that the PS looks extraneous and unnecessary.

Dang, you have a beard now? Nice suit. Your pants seem to have gotten slimmer :slayer: .

Nice stuff. The jacket is especially killer. I think the outfit would work better with:

    1. Either dark blue denim, or some brown khaki or dark gray wool pants. I think the purple-y color of the pants is what's throwing off the outfit the most, not the PS.
    2. The PS coordinate with the rest of the outfit (light blue with shades of gray?).

This is what I wore to my "audition" for the new Kevin Spacey series."House of Cards", a political 13 part (1 hour each) series being shot here in TLoPL. I was trying for CBD but with a bit of a color kick so that it might pop when the casting people review the pictures. I knew the shoes weren't CBD but they are the sleekest that I own. The shirt cuffs do show up better in a robot pose.

Thanks alot for all the comments yesterday on fit. UC, may I ask what you meant by concave shoulders? I was not 100% happy with the shoulders of the corneliani jacket I posted but I could not put my finger onto why. Here is another corneliani I own that has different shoulders, I think they look better. Maybe I wil get ones with this structure from now on.

For the others who gave suggestions, thank you. I too like the polo 1 fit for me. Funny how pictures can make the polo 2 seem tight as it is anything but, probably the loosest suit I own. Oh well!

TB, fwiw, here are the socks and shoes I wore yesterday. This is def. a weak spot in my wardrobe atm.

I felt in a rush today, sorry for the meh pix. Tie got messed up.
