Brooks Bros everything from head to foot.
Perhaps, someday, there will be a Golden Fleece on the coffee cup, too.
It certainly isn't a faux-pas, it's just an American business-wear rule - I don't know when it started. Navy suit and black shoes is the norm in Britain and indeed in most of Europe, and in plenty of Asia too. So I do wish people wouldn't perpetuate any particular cultural norm here as if it should be applied worldwide. Both combinations can work. We don't need style imperialism.
And as if by magic, Spoo demonstrates blue and black working in harmony just above...
you need a custom title, maybe, WAYWRN enforcer
Stand up straight, dammit.
Otherwise, like the fit.
Love the fact that the recent conversation has brought gdl into WAYWRN. One of the few members that is willing to say exactly what needs to be said, yet is still more likeable than "The Liberator."
nah - I'll probably be gone in a week
spoo - couple of comments: first, three plains, with no patterns is just a bit... well... plain, IMO. Second, I don't like that mint (sage?) color tie. If you were going for a "welcome Spring!" look (which the square seems to suggest), you would have been better off with either a light blue patterned tie or white/blue like the one above, should you wish to keep black shoes. I think it would have looked dashing. JMO
