Happy birthday, NOBD. Hope you had lots of fun!

    Thanks, Sri.

Generally i am a big fan of your stuff, but i think this might have been better without the scarf...

No problem. Thanks. I like the quiet colours in your outfit.

Was you saying the jacket and tie are actually blue a joke or something? Because they look 100% brown on my laptop monitor and my phones screen. Either your camera has gone insane or my sarcasm meter is busted. Nice look either way. I think a different tie like a grenadine and a more interesting square would've knocked this one out the park.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if it was blue since it looks like he took a pic in front of a mirror with an incandescent light, which browns everything in pictures.

SS 1998 or 1999. You took in a size 56?!?

Heck no! Only thing I did was have the waist taken out a bit. Are you sure that's 56, and not 36?

You are right - Actually a Euro 44, which is unusual as that is not part of the general production range.

In honour of the events taking place in Britain this morning, a Brit-themed fit, overdone in my usual manner.

    Suit is New & Lingwood
    Shirt is BB
    Braces are BB
    Socks are BB
    Tie is Charvet
    Cufflinks - Niletti Creations, NYC
Watch chain - vintage, with modern replacement watch
    Linen pocket handkerchief
Hat is Selentino, via JJ Hat Center, NYC

FWIW, and have at it, fellow posters.

Tell me more about this PS.

IIRC, it's a cheapo I picked up at Filene's Basement or Stein Mart or some such place. The tag is long gone (I always cut them off squares), and the brand wasn't memorable.

I wish the spots on the tie weren't the same color as the suit, but that's just bitchy nitpicking. Carry on!

You must own a trunk full of pocket squares. And, I want every one of 'em. Very stylish today.

I could be enjoying a perfect spring day in New Orleans today, seeing Jeff Beck followed by Robert Plant at Jazz Fest while working a wonderful buzz...but I am not.

Instead, I am covering a lunch with client followed by a settlement conference at federal court for a poorly dressed, lazy ass motherfucker in my office, who intentionally created a scheduling conflict so he could get out of handling his own case.

    Have a good one.
