    Details

    Coat: Caruso Navy Hopsack blazer
    Shirt: Cottonwork
Tie: Henry Carter Neckwear wool check
    Trousers: Benjamin
    Shoes: Carmina Brown captoes

Actually think this would have worked better with charcoal trousers now looking at the pics.

your pictures would be 10000% better if you shot in natural light and without flash. seriously.

I've tried shots without flash, in the available light of my apartment early in the AM, and they're too dark to see the clothes properly - otherwise, I am in total agreement.

I actually considered a different, darker tie, but I decided that it was too slim:

Those pants look great, both color and fit. The jacket, is it from your own E-F-V collection?

You decided wrong Bud. This tie is slim, but its 100 times better than the other one. Burn the other one immediately. And where is your white PS.

    Oops!

Nothing a little photoshop can't fix. [IMG]

Actually, I think I had a well-articulated reason as to why I was going to not wear a PS, but I forget what it was. Maybe it was just a gut instinct.

It's good to see a three-button jacket - in my opinion far more attractive than any 2-button style.

Don't you think that statement is a bit subjective? Three button jackets are extremely subjective when it comes to things like proportions, buttoning points, lapel widths, etc. Are you contending that three buttons would technically and aesthetically look better or are you just a proponent of the Rule of Three (or whatever the sartorial equivalent is)?

Thank you and for all the thumbs up today guys.

The tie is Charvet, purchased on the trip where I asked my wife to marry me, at the Vendome store in Paris. Its never coming up for sale.

The links are tiger eye, purchased from RJman's epic clearance a few years back for a pittance.

My lapels thank you as well.

Don't like the fit of any of this - once again you look like you've been raiding your kid brother's wardrobe, but I LOVE that royal/marine blue colour which is criminally underused IMO in deferment of ubiquitous navy.

Non-CBD today in Sydney as the project lifecycle draws (slooowly) to a close...

Actually started out wearing the Hober challis, but decided to switch ties partway through because 1) I'm bored, 2) I want to take the new Vanda out for a spin, 3) I'm bored, 4) I wanted to test my colleagues' powers of observation (not promising so far), and 5) I'm bored.

Apparently, my iPhone has decided that gravity is overrated as I can't seem to rotate the picture. :D

Obligatory nostalgic SF bathroom fit pic:
