There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Suit looks pretty good to me. Tie is a little wacky though.

Funny you say that, because I remember wanting these desperately when I bought them. However, I've had them now for ~5 years and have worn them less than 25 times. I've been reaching for them a lot very recently though. I tend to do that with shoes for some reason: wear them heavily in spurts and then virtually ignore them for long periods of time. Truth be told, I rarely wear black shoes besides loafers, which probably puts me in the minority on SF, where black lace-ups abound and black loafers are harder to come by. As of late I've subbed the monks in for loafers with jeans and have made a concerted effort to work them in with suit and pant/sportcoat outfits.

Today was sweater weather in NYC, the jacket is on the heavy side but since I was going to be out into the evening, it worked out fine. The boots are mantellassi/settantre.

    Springtime has arrived!

I like it, Rob - bravo!

Thanks man. I tend to stay out of CBD though, even if the fit qualifies.
....you're most assuredly unwelcome there anyhow [IMG]

Shoes are godly. I'll let someone else praise the vehicle.
    Thank you, sir [IMG]

Lol, I knew I should've cropped out the terrible fuzz! The shame!

Also Spoo, I'm so honored.... [IMG] Hopefully I improve at the same rate that you did! [IMG]

Still not sold on the pants. I think it's an improvement, but I don't think pleated pants flatter me at all.

Top and bottom are the same colour. Lighting was off.

I think the double forward pleats look great. I still think buttoning point is your issue. If that button was an inch lower...

It's definitely an improvement. Second time to the tailor, first time they looked like this:

He tapered them much too aggressively the first time, and they were billowing in the hips like riding pants. I think the second time around is about as good as it's going to get.

I agree on the buttoning point, but one of the funny things about Toronto is you can either buy all of your suits online and never quite know what you're gonna get until you get it, or spend all of your money ever all the time. I think working the lapels helped things a bit. In the earlier pic the dry cleaners left a really hard crease to the third button. [IMG]

I think a much better solution is for me to start hitting the gym again so I don't look like a frumpy pear.

+1. Navi, get rid of it.

Agreed on both counts. Pwn, you need lower buttoning points.

Lol, I wasn't trying to grow a beard or anything, just been lazy to shave lately. It'll be gone by tomorrow, don't worry. Less critique of the hair, more critique of the clothes (although i know its a simple fit so not much to critique) [IMG]

Now THAT is The Fit of Authority!

This suit does make a statement, but it does need to rest for the summer season.

    Some weekend footage -

That is a sensuous delight on so many levels - and I don't even like cars very much!

I am covetous of that navy pinstripe 3-piece upr_crust. Nicely done.

A lucky day in Jermyn St. - New & Lingwood RTW. Thank you for the kind comments.

Cheers, mike. Really feeling like i stepped my game up lately. Even better when great dressers like you, spoo, crusty, acecow and the likes support that view.

    See above.
Regarding your fit: loved the way you combined the sc and tie, but the shirt seemed out of place, colourwise...

Wow crusty, NOW that is a power suit. I feel like i immediately have to obey your rules, whatever they might be [IMG] [IMG]

I am flattered, Sppozy, that you've linked my name with the others on your list.

I am not in disagreement with your take on the yellow shirt with my SC from Friday - the color tended to overtake everything near it.

As for blind obedience to my rules (at least while wearing today's fit), I just warn you that people have gotten themselves in very odd situations doing that sort of thing - forewarned is forearmed . . . [IMG] [IMG]
