My Latin is very rusty, but is imperfect tense really appropriate? I'm thinking Venimus, Videmus, Vincemus instead. Or, if you're an optimist like me, end it with Vincimus instead.

(here's hoping I've remembered my conjugations correctly, or that won't work at all!)

Back in the land of the living. Sort of. It IS Monday, after all.

I was wondering that myself. In Latin (with which I have a great degree of difficulty) I thought "veniebamus" forms an imperfect, in which case they may not have come? Again, I'm really better with Germanic languages, but I suspect you are correct.

In any event, that's my favorite combination you've posted thus far, though I'm not sure the PS is to my particular taste.

Holy **** there are some terrible dressers in this thread. Leading the pack is nerdykarim with that godawful tie. You are a terrible dresser, and an even worse poster. Die in a pit.

Looks good, but I like your longer overcoats even better. :nodding:

Thank you. Ironically enough, I was called to task for having coats that are too long a while ago - there seems to be a difference of opinion on this subject.

I think it is a fashion thing. Short coats are all the rage, but pretty useless when it comes to warmth.

I attended a relative's funeral over the weekend. Nothing fancy here.... black suit, black tie, black shoes, and white shirt. I normally don't like doing two-tone, but family member and relatives, as well as close friends of the deceased, were expected to wear formal, straight forward funeral attire.
