Thanks bros. I will admit that I most certainly turn to a Doc/Corbera inspiration lately, not a lie. I enjoyed it, yes. The SC is tough - I prefer the jacket to be darker than the pants, which in this case, would have required a khaki to work, but that would have turned it into a full summer vibe. So, I find using a light/mid grey in lieu of a lighter pant is the only other alternative. What pants would you have suggested to complete the fit if not these greys? Twinsies! Get at me if you want to discuss who was better - Caravaggio or Gentileschi, or if you care to have a spirited debate over if Basquiat or Haring had a greater influence on the 80's graffiti inspired art scene. Im 85% city, 5% country, 10% weekend, so OCBDs don't really fit my aesthetic much. I think my basic spreads do a job well enough to cover that (acceptable) gap in my shirt rotation.
