You always have a very personal cut to your jackets. It's not entirely to my tastes (the fronts always seem a little abbreviated to my eyes), but you wear it well. Dare to unbutton a second shirt button! [IMG]
It's because I buy cheap jackets off of B&S. Once I get more custom garments, things will change. Somebody told me to button up the second button last time! But yeah, today was so warm I should've.
Great look Kent, but the flower totally harshed my boner. Take it out and step on it.
I have started a thread just for you.

Very good from a distance, but I don't like the tie in the close-up pic (it's a little too reflective for me). But overall, I like the look.

Agreed that it's too shiny. Hopefully no one will ever get that close while inspecting my tie. [IMG]

Good fit, Señor Crust. Cheers on the slimming.

Spoo's journey into the soporific continues. But nice!

PS seems to fighting the rest of the fit. Intellectually, I can see how you got there, but instinctively, not feeling it.

I don't expect the tie will get much love, but I like it.

It's almost 80F in Philadelphia today. Linen suit to work. CBD be dammed.

    VBD (veranda business dress). Nice.

IMO, this desperately needs a shot of color/contrast. Looks like a nice suit, but it's almost invisible.

^ Look OK, but I personally dislike very narrow stripes on suits. A solid grey would be better I think.

No-one ever said SF was consistent in its advice! [IMG] I think most open-collar fits look better with a couple of buttons undone, esp. if the second button is close to the top one. Not very professional/business-like I guess, but the deeper angle created by the more open shirt echoes the jacket lapel line better. If the second button is a long way down from the top one, then I just undo the top one.

    Indeed! [IMG]

    Luftvier -

I am considering a linen suit and I also work in a law office. I can't decide whether to get navy or tan. Do you find that the navy makes it easier to wear to the office?

Colo/ur balance is a little off. The suit is actually brown. Doesn't really affect your preference for more widely spaced stripes, but maybe your recommendation for solid gra/ey. I'm not the biggest fan of narrow stripes either, but this one appealed to me (obviously).

You may have to ask someone else, as I'm a solo practitioner and make my own dress code rules. Tan is not really a conservative court color, IMO, but you can probably get away with it at the office in summer.

I like the stealth spooz. Everything looks boring (shoes excepted) until you get up close. The coat sleeves look a touch short.
