Moo, did you loose weight? Lookin' slim.
Thx - yes, a bit of it so far with more to go. I'm considering doing the Tough Mudder event in September, and if I did it now, in my current shape, I'd probably die.
Moo, don't know how else to say this, and I've probably said it before (assuming I'm not on your ignore list), but you seem to have nice things, and yet no idea of how to put them together. With almost every fit I see of yours, it always looks to me like a jumble of odd colors, and particularly, patterns. I'm all for experimenting but it seems to happen to often, so I don't know if you just like to play around and there's some sort of consistent style I'm not getting, or you just have nice things but no clue how to work them all together... If there's method in the madness, I'm all ears
I put a shirt on. I put a jacket/top/whatever on. I put pants on. Probably not in that order... I don't worry about what the Internet will think (I don't have a Tumblr/blog of my photos and I hardly ever take them anymore to post here). I don't think I'm breaking any cardinal rules with this outfit. Is the green shirt throwing you for a loop?
Looks like a Crucifix. Probably a confirmation present. Kinda different than just wearing a gold chain to wear one., i think.
It doesn't look bad to me. I think you would have got less flak with blue, white or ochre shirt probably, but my opinion doesn't tend to work out well on here.
Star of David, but you have the right idea. 18th birthday present. I don't take it off unless I have to.
I'll definitely wear the jacket with a blue shirt at some point, and it will probably look better.
I have a gold crucifix I was given for my first communion. I would never think of not wearing it either. Good on you.
SC: Oscar Jacobson in Loro Piana Zelander fabric. The torso shot is most true to colour.
Shirt: Ashwood & Blake
Tie: Sartoria Pari
PS: The tailoring club
Denim: Levi´s 511
+ Happy Socks and Alden cordovan tassels
Looks nice, Anden! It would have even have looked more better with a less matching tie and handkerchief, though.
Thanks. I was considering this PS instead in order to bring out the orange in the coat fabric.
Will do next time.
Sacrilege or not, I second this, as its a personal preference and symmetry is more appealing to most people.
Although both can look really good, if executed properly. Unfortunately it works the other way around as well.
Maybe this should be in the casual thread.... A chunky sweater I picked up in France many years ago. It has that LL Bean Norwegian sweater billowing at the waist. (Part of the "heating system" so I'm told.) Perfect for an arctic day like we are having today. The piping on the collar is purple.
Good grief, while I was watching the final episode of Downton Abbey, a raging debate was underway about tie knots. As Arturo Toscanini wisely said, "Verdi was right. Wagner was right. They were both right!"
Yeah, you did all those things, and you don't care, yet you then chose to take a picture and put it in this forum. Why?
